First of all thank you for visiting my website, my name is Nick Roeten and I am stunt performer born and raised in the city of The Hague (The Netherlands). I've been into sports all my life and started at a young age. I trained different martial arts such as karate, judo, taekwondo and even gymnastics. At the age of 12 I got the highest belt I could get at my age at my karate club. I practiced Go-Ju-Kai karate. Even after karate I always been fascinated about martial arts and gymnastics. I found a sport that combines martial arts and gymnastics, it is called tricking. I used to train a lot by myself, but after I went to San Jose, California in 2008 where I met one of the best trickers out there, I started to train with Guillermo 'KJER' Bongers (team StreetTrickz). Since then I trained a lot of disciplines, while learning from the best. Tricking put me in touch with many different people, from stunt performers to actors and a lot people alike. These people helped me to get in to the film industry. That is how I came in contact with stunt team Hammy de Beukelaer. After training with this amazing stunt team I got the opportunity to do this line of work at the age of 22. Stunt team Hammy de Beukelaer is the best Dutch stunt team there is. They provide national and international stunts of the highest level, with over 50 years of combined expertise in this industry lead by Willem de Beukelaer and Marco Maas  I am still working closely with stunt team Hammy de Beukelaer. With their support I am still growing in the stunt industry.
My first T.V appearance was on a Dutch T.V show, a small part with big consequences. From that day on I was fortunate enough to appear in dozens national (The Netherlands) and international productions for films (Filth, Wonder Woman & Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), live theatre, commercials and many more as a stunt performer. One of these commercials was a viral video on YouTube that had over 55 million hits.
In 2013 I decided to train for the British Stunt Register. I started with scuba diving in Thailand, for 3 months I was diving almost daily. After my return to the Netherlands I made the decision to move to London and train as hard as I possibly could. And luckily it paid off, I completed all my six disciplines within one year and four months. And since the 9th of July 2015 I can proudly say I am member of the British Stunt Register.
